APRIL 23-26, 2008
The annual meeting of the Executive Board was held in Suwon, S. Korea from April 23-26, 2008.
Hosted by the city of Suwon, the meeting was attended by the delegates from Abidjan, Cambridge, Hiroshima, Milano, Morphou, New Haven, Plonsk, Sarajevo, Slovenj Gradec, Sochi, Suwon, Vancouver, Volgograd, Yokohama.
The proposal was made by the city of Suwon, to commemorate the International Day of Peace worldwide in all of our member cities, by planting a tree each year.
The proposal was unanimously endorsed by the delegates.
The delegates also adopted The Suwon Resolution and agreed on organizing the 2008 General Assembly in the city of Sochi, Russian Federation, from November 12-16, 2008.
